Adding Rhodes DNS servers to a Mac

You only need to do this IF you can't connect to smb shares as described in other articles.

1. Click the Network Icon and select Open Network Preferences.

2. Click the button labeled "Advanced..."

3. Select the DNS tab.

4. Make note of the DNS servers already in the list.

5. Click the "+" button

6. Type 10.10.2.20 and press enter

You can add additional DNS entries as well. Rhodes has multiple DNS servers, but you really only need to add one of ours. You can also add 8.8.8.8 if you want to use Google's DNS servers. If the DNS servers that you made note of in step 4 have disappeared you can re-add them in the same way. Just make sure 10.10.2.20 is at the top.
