Tour Basics

Full tank of gas: Check. Change of clothes: Check. Called at least a couple weeks in advance: Check. We’ve put together your tour of Rhodes. You are so prepared.

Campus Tour
This one’s a must. Take a walking tour of campus with a student guide who will give you an honest take on life at Rhodes. Ask tough questions. Tours are offered on a regular schedule.

  • Monday & Friday - 9am, 11am & 2pm
  • Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday - 11am & 2pm
  • Saturday - 10am & 11:30am

Info Session
This Q&A with an admissions counselor can be with or without your parents. We’ll cover all the basics: financial aid, fellowships, admissions and anything else you want to know about.

Personal Meeting with Admissions
This one-on-one session isn’t required, but it is worth doing. It lets us see the one thing that grades and test scores don’t: your personality. Come prepared to be yourself.

Attend a Class
Is college Biology as hard as they say? How good is that History professor? This is what it’s all about, so sit in on a class and find out for yourself.

Faculty/Staff Meeting
Talk with a professor or coach in your area of interest or set up a meeting with a financial aid officer.

Stay Overnight
See what campus is like after hours. Hang out in a residence hall, meet a few students and sleep over for a taste of college life. High-school seniors and transfer students only. (Don’t forget to bring a sleeping bag, pillow, towels and completed release forms.)

Pick-ups
Traveling alone? Students are available for rides to/from the airport and bus/train stations 9am - 9pm, Monday - Friday and 1pm - 9pm Sunday. Your pick-up will meet you outside your airline’s baggage claim. Call ahead to schedule.
