Service Learning Program

For High School SENIORS

The program will allow prospective students and their parents to learn more about our service initiatives and community partnerships, hear from students who make service a part of their daily lives at Rhodes, tour the campus and learn about the Bonner Scholarship and Community Service Work Study Program (which can give you the opportunity to fund your education while doing service). Students will also participate in a service site tour of popular service locations in Memphis while parents attend an info session with an admissions representative on campus. The program begins at 12:00 p.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. In addition, you may choose to arrive earlier in the day to learn more about Rhodes by attending a class and meeting faculty.

Campus tours will be offered at 11am and 4pm. Parents and students will meet current students and faculty and learn more about academic programs, student organizations, admissions and financial aid.
Math, Sciences and Pre-Engineering Open House

Students and parents will talk with departmental faculty and student majors, eat lunch, take a campus tour and attend an admissions/financial aid info session and a professor panel. There will also be an evening cookout with professors and current students, where prospective students and parents can learn about on-campus, off-campus and post-graduate opportunities in math, science and engineering.
