I graduated from Rhodes in May of 2008 with a degree in English and Creative Writing. In August, I found myself back on campus—this time as a staff member with the official title of Alumni Relations and Communications Coordinator!
As a life-long Memphian, I have considered Rhodes a landmark of astounding beauty in the heart of Midtown Memphis. Growing up in the city, my family would pass by the campus from time to time but little did I know that Rhodes would become such an important part of my life. For me, Rhodes provided not only a top-of-the-line academic education, but also a full submersion into world views and values that have undoubtedly influenced my character today.
So, as you can probably guess, I am ecstatic to be back in the Rhodes community. In my position, I help coordinate the short and long-term goals of the Alumni Relations and Communications departments. Although I am based in the Communications office, my role as liaison between these departments will be instrumental in advancing the relationship between our offices.
