Who am I ? This is always a difficult question for me. As a Rhodes blogger, one thing sets me different from other bloggers: I’m an international student of Rhodes. To be honest, when Rhodes asked me to do the blog thing, I was so worried at first: I’m not an English native speaker and I come from a country far away from US, can reader understand my blogs? However, I still decide to take this challenge since it is a great chance for me to share my collge experience with all the readers in the future.
My name is Li Dai, I’m from China. International students are always expected to add their own cultures to colleges. For me, it would definitely be Chinese brush writing. I began to learn Chinese brush writing when I was nine years old and fell in love with this old Chines art immediately. I am really enjoying it though it’s a lot of work there.
People around me have given me comments such as you have nice calm sense of humor or you are fun to be around. However, so far, I haven’t found out my own talent of humor.
I have a deep love for the sea. I like standing on the beach, watching the sea quitely and enjoying the smell of the seawater. Swimming in the sea is another thing I like to do. Being around the sea can always make me peaceful and forget all the troubles I had.
I’m the only kid in my family. Being the only kid is so lonely. I’ve always dreamed of having some siblings to share my sorrow and happiness together. I’m sure I won’t feel lonely anymore in the next four years, because I will share my feelings with you, my blog readers.
