Hey guys,
I hope this new post update finds everyone well. I’ve just been chilling in Madrid this week(end), but it’s been quite wonderful the things your can do just around the city. For instance, a couple of friends and I went to go see the Temple of Debod, this Egyptian shrine that is 2200 years old. What. At first I just couldn’t fathom the age of it, but then, I got to thinking. What was an Egyptian temple doing here around 200 BCE? Anyway, here are some pictures:


And since the temple is sort of at the edge of the plateau on which central Madrid basically sprawls, we got a sweeeeet view of the sunset.

Thanks to the “sunset mode” on my camera, the reds and oranges are super vibrant! One more:
