The Twelfth annual Nebraska Conference for Undergraduate Women in Mathematics will be January 29 -January 31, 2010. This conference is a great way to meet other women with similar interests and share research experiences. You can present at the conference or just go to see the presentations and attend the panel discussions. The panel discussions will be the following: Careers Using Mathematics and Choosing a Mathematics Graduate Program.
The conference covers lodging expenses and most meals while you are at the conference. Travel expenses will be paid in part by Rhodes. We will not know how much travel expenses per person will be until we know how many people are going, but most of the cost should be covered by Rhodes and/or the conference. Registration deadline is December 4, 2009 but there are a limited number of spaces so the earlier you can register, the better. I am asking that you please email me, Catherine Appleton, at appcj by Friday Nov. 14th if you plan to attend so that we can know how many people we need to cover for travel expenses. Rhodes will also be paying for the registration fee which is $30 which you will see when you go to the website to register.

If you do not contact me then Rhodes will not be able to pay for your registration fee or help with travel expenses.
