OCTOBER 27th -6:30-8:00 pm Memphis Family Shelter Halloween Party! (allse@rhodes.edu) MFS HALLOWEEN PARTY – We will be having a Halloween Party at the Memphis family shelter. The Memphis family shelter houses 15 families. It provides transitional housing and supportive services for homeless mothers and their children. Mothers are offered a strong learning environment to improve their lives! The kids and moms are tons of fun! Please email Sarah Allen, allse@rhodes.edu if interested!
MIFA Handiman Build Day – November 14th (jeaeb@rhodes.edu) MIFA Handyman Program-We will be having a service day on November 14th. MIFA handyman program is a lot like Habitat-For-Humanity. MIFA handiman program believes that low-income senior homeowners deserve to live in warmth, safety, and independence. We will make a build team to provide needed minor home improvements to allow these senior to continue to live in their own homes.
