the spring semester has already started for 3 weeks. my life is the same norm: class, homework and work. nothing exciting has happened to me except some trivial things.
First, I have changed the roommate this semester, one good news is that my new roommate is from China too. more exciting is that she’s from the same province as I am ( Jiangsu Province, near Shanghai). So, obviously we have a lot to talk about. our province, our high school system and much else. another thing is that we can talk Chinese in our room and share Chinese sense of humor as well. Second thing is that I have held a noodle and dumpling party at the beginning of the new semester. I have invited about 14 friends. many of my friends haven’t tasted dumplings before, but it turned out that my dumplings and noodle gave them a very good first tasting experience of Chinese food. I hope I can have this kind of small get together more in the future. classes are going well, life is the same norm, everything is peaceful and quiet in my new semester.
