I am already looking forward to next weekend. For some reason this semester is taking the best of me and throwing it all over my school work. I’ve not had time to really enjoy myself in a long time (not even on my birthday) because I was so worried about school.
Watkin’s Music Lit class has probably taken up 12-20 hours of my time the past week. The test was killer and he had a paper due on Monday. This is not to mention all the reading for Life, the concerts, the practice (which I haven’t done in over a week), and the looming Psychology and Music Theory test.
I just want summer to be here.
Summer is when we tend to think about the sun a lot…so, take a look at the link I have provided today to get a perspective of just how significant our sun is in the grand scheme of things.
And my advice for upcoming freshman: don’t get in over your head. I should have realized that taking four classes this semester was going to kill me. Plan your time and talk to your advisers (Dr. Bryant mentioned taking only three classes this semester, but I didn’t listen). Find time to have fun and relax…but, unlike me, actually relax!
